Mode of Transmission:
- ingestion of Contaminated food and water.
- Eating Raw or undercooked seafood.
- Direct contact with infected person’s feces or vomit.
- Poor hygiene and sanitation.
Symptoms:
- Severe Watery Diarrhea
- Nausea and Vomiting
- Dehydration
- Abdominal cramps
Prevention is Key!
- Drink safe water (boiled or treated).
- Wash hands frequently with soap and water.
- Avoid raw or undercooked food.
- Keep surroundings clean.
- Avoid close contact with infected people
Take Action!
- Report immediately to the hospital/ health facility.
- Report suspected cases to health authorities.
- Support community-led initiatives for clean water and sanitation.
