It is yet another moment of pride and celebration for the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) as the institution records a resounding 100% success in the just concluded Nursing and Midwifery Council Professional Examination.

The examination, which held from March 10th to 13th, 2026, saw a total of 70 students from the university participate, and remarkably, every single one of them emerged successful.
The examination was conducted on the Oye Campus of the university, further reinforcing FUOYE’s growing capacity to host and deliver high-standard professional assessments within its facilities.
Reacting to the remarkable feat, the Provost of the College of Medicine, Professor Olusola Adeeyo, expressed immense pride in the students and faculty, describing the outcome as a reflection of hard work, discipline, and quality training. He commended the dedication of the lecturers and the resilience of the students, noting that the achievement reinforces the college’s commitment to producing highly competent and globally competitive health professionals.
This remarkable achievement is a testament to the university’s unshakeable commitment to academic excellence, quality training, and the dedication of both staff and students within the nursing programme. It also reinforces FUOYE’s rising profile as a centre of excellence in health education in Nigeria.
