She noted that understanding one’s emotional, physical, and mental limits, alongside clear communication, helps to sustain balance and prevent burnout.

Professor Aganga advised audience to remain consistent in enforcing their boundaries and to prioritize self-care, adding that individuals should learn to say “no” without guilt and “yes” without resentment in both personal and professional engagements.
On life experiences, she encouraged participants to embrace opportunities such as acquiring new skills, pursuing passion projects, and adapting to change, including relocation when necessary. She also highlighted the importance of managing loss and grief constructively as part of life’s journey.

Addressing financial independence, Professor Aganga described it as a transformative achievement, urging individuals to track their expenses, create realistic budgets, and build emergency funds capable of sustaining them for several months.
She further recommended strategic investments in areas such as stocks, mutual funds, and real estate, while also advising on the need to pay off high-interest debts and develop multiple streams of income to ensure long-term financial stability.
In addition, she underscored the importance of academic productivity, linking publications and career advancement to consistency, discipline, and dedication to scholarly work.
