RE-ACCREDITATION OF UNDERGRADUATE ENGINEERING PROGRAMMES
I write to convey the approval of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) on the re-accreditation visitations to the Undergraduate Engineering Programmes of your institution from 23rd -27th February, 2020 as follows

| 4. | Met/Mat Engineering | Full Accreditation | February 2020 – February 2025 |
The effective date of the full accreditation status of the programmes is 27th February, 2020 and expires 26th February, 2025. It is necessary to point out that Full Accreditation is valid for 5 (Five) years. The full report of the accreditation visitations are attached herewith.
There will be Post-Accreditation visits to the programmes within the period of these programmes accreditation validities to check on the state of facilities, personnel, etc.
Accreditation may be withdrawn if there is clear evidence of falling standard.
COREN advises that these programmes strictly comply with the implementation of the recommendations highlighted in the reports.
