The Federal University Oye-Ekiti has officially announced its 9th International Science Conference 2026, bringing together scholars, and researchers from across the globe to explore cutting-edge developments in science and technology.

The conference, themed “Artificial Intelligence and Ethical Considerations in Interdisciplinary Research: A Panacea for Sustainable Advancement and Innovation,” is scheduled to hold from June 1st to June 5th, 2026, at the New Faculty of Science Auditorium, Phase II, FUOYE.
The event will feature keynote addresses from renowned academics and industry leaders, including Prof. K. S. Oyedji, Prof. E. A. Bakare, Prof. J. L. Marnewick, Dr. T. C. Dombo, and Prof. A. Pholosi. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. J. O. Ogunwole, will serve as the Chief Host, underscoring the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and global collaboration.
According to the organizers, the conference will cover diverse sub-themes such as cybersecurity, green chemistry, biotechnology, public health, environmental risk assessment, and the application of artificial intelligence in scientific research. Highlights include postgraduate oral and poster presentation competitions, as well as quiz and debate contests for secondary school students.
Prospective participants are encouraged to submit abstracts before May 15, 2026, while early bird registration closes on April 10, 2026.
