The session also covered trademark rights, including their classification, lifespan, and significance in business registration. Additionally, participants learned about patents, their definition, duration, and registration requirements. Emphasis was placed on the importance of having a well-defined IP policy and understanding patent ownership to safeguard innovations effectively. The webinar provided a comprehensive guide on protecting intellectual assets, empowering attendees to secure their innovations in a competitive marketplace.

The next webinar, scheduled for Friday, March 14, 2025, will explore “Human-Centered Innovation: Design Thinking for Digital Solutions and Market Adoption.” The session will be facilitated by Olabisi Yahaya, a seasoned Business Analyst and UX Designer from FCT, Abuja.
