Federal University Oye-Ekiti through its Institute of Part-Time Studies (IPTS), has announced dates for the conduct of mop-up examinations for students who missed one or more papers during the just concluded first semester examinations.
According to an internal memorandum dated May 8, 2026, and signed by the Director of IPTS, Prof. Wakili Adelani Tijani, the mop-up examination is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, May 13 and Thursday, May 14, 2026.

The memo, referenced FUOYE/STD/012, explained that the exercise is specifically designed for affected students who were unable to participate in one or more examination papers during the main examination period.
As contained in the notice, students in the 100 and 200 levels are expected to sit for their examinations on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, while students in the 300 to 500 levels will take theirs on Thursday, May 14, 2026. Examinations on both days will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The University further disclosed that the examinations will be conducted online, urging all affected candidates to ensure they have access to reliable computer systems and stable internet connectivity ahead of the scheduled dates.
The management also clarified that the opportunity is strictly for students who missed their papers and not for candidates who had already attempted the examinations during the regular examination period.
Course coordinators have equally been advised to provide the necessary support and guidance to affected students to ensure a smooth examination process.
Students are therefore encouraged to take note of their respective schedules and make adequate preparations ahead of the examination dates.
