The Directorate of SERVICOM, Federal University Oye- Ekiti (FUOYE) has unveiled its Service Charter for effective public service delivery.
This was part of activities put up to mark a two- day National Universities Commission- Parastatal Servicom Committee (NUC- PSC) meeting held on Wednesday 9th April and Thursday 10th April, 2025 at the Fasina Conference Centre.
The Vice- Chancellor, Professor Abayomi Sunday Fasina in his foreword said “our university has fully adopted and upheld the principles and standards of SERVICOM.”
He went on: “This Service Charter serves as a formal declaration of our dedication to providing efficient, transparent and citizen- centered services to our students, staff and stakeholders.
“We encourage all members of our university community to familiarize themselves with that document and actively engage in its implementation.
“Together, we must uphold the values and integrity of the university, fostering an environment where quality service delivery is not just a goal but a shared responsibility.”
The unveiling of the Service Charter was conducted by Mrs. Kikelomo Aina, an Assistant Director, Servicom office, Presidency Abuja.
She said: “We want to unveil the newest Service Charter in Nigeria. We hereby launch the Service Charter of Federal University Oye- Ekiti (FUOYE) for the use of everyone to promote and enhance effective public service delivery.
Meanwhile, the head of Directorate of SERVICOM, Mr James Toyin Borisade in his speech appreciated the Vice- Chancellor, Professor Abayomi Sunday Fasina for the support while expressing approval for the hosting of this meeting.
Borisade said: “I want to thank our Vice- Chancellor for the unflinching support and express approval he gave us to host this event.
“As a SERVICOM- Compliant Vice- Chancellor, Professor Fasina always supports and gives approval to all our programmes because he prioritizes and encourages effective public service delivery in our university.”
Other highlight of the session was recognition of FUOYE SERVICOM staff and group photograph.
