The Faculty of Social Sciences, Federal University Oye-Ekiti has concluded plans to host 2nd International Conference themed “Nigeria’s Diversity for Prosperity and Sustainable Development.”
The conference would hold between 24th and 25th April, 2024 at the university’s Faculty of Social Sciences Auditorium. Time is 9a.m-4p.m daily.
Vice-Chancellor Federal University Oye Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria, Professor Abayomi Sunday Fasina is the Chief Host while the Conference’s keynote Speaker is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research Development and Innovations, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Professor Akanni Akinyemi (FSSAN).
The Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences, Professor Azeez Olaniyan would serve as the Host of the Conference.
Chair, Conference Organising Committee, Dr. Sunday A. Adedini and the Secretary Organising Committee, Dr. Samuel Oyewole in a statement said the Conference would also focus on Communication and sustainable development; Climate change and sustainable development in Africa and Emerging issues in resource governance for sustainable development in Nigeria.
Others are perceptions, beliefs and attitude as ink to sustainable development; Security challenges and sustainable development; and Investing in education and innovation for sustainable development; among others.
