    Pomp as FUOYE VC, Fasina, others honour Bishop Kunle Oni at mother’s burial

    Dignitaries from all works of life including the Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Oye Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria Professor Sunday Abayomi Fasina thronged Aramoko Ekiti to honour Bishop Kunle Oni, who also doubles as FUOYE’s staff as he buried his mother.

    Bishop Oni, who heads the Department of Food Science Technology, Federal University Oye Ekiti, buried his mother, Mrs. Adunni Agnes Titilayo Oni on Friday, June 30, 2023, at his hometown in Aramoko Ekiti, headquarters of Ekiti West Local Government Area of the state.

    Late Mrs. Adunni Agnes Titilayo Oni died on February 20, 2023, at her residence in Aramoko Ekiti, Ekiti State. She was 87.

    She was buried on Friday, 30th June 2023. The funeral service was conducted by Apostolic Faith Church, Ekiti District at Aladeloye Event Centre, along Ijero Ekiti Road, Aramoko Ekiti.

    In his sermon, Pastor, of Apostolic Faith Church Ijero Ekiti. Brother Mathew Gbadebo. charged everyone to accept Jesus Christ.

    He encouraged the congregation to live their lives as ordained by their creator while alive, urging them to walk in the way of the Lord as every individual would give an account of how he/she lived their life.

    He admonished people to live and prepare to meet their creator at any time.

    Speaking to FUOYE Esquire, on behalf of the late Agnes Oni’s Children, Bishop Kunle Oni appreciated everyone for gracing the occasion of their mother’s burial ceremony.

    He said: “My special appreciation goes to my father, my mentor, the Vice-Chancellor, Federal University Oye Ekiti, Professor Abayomi Sunday Fasina, and his management team for finding it possible to attend my mother’s burial.”

    Besides, the FUOYE Don appreciated Rt. Revd Jude Adebayo Bishop Diocese of Igbomina West, Anglican Communion Church of Nigeria, Bishop Clement Ishola Ojo, Trinity Faith Assembly Church of God, Lagos, and his spiritual father, Bishop (Prof.) Olusegun Oladimeji and his wife, Bishop (Mrs) J.B. Oladimeji, Divine Glory Family Assembly, Ile-Ife, Osun State.

    The Ekiti-born associate Professor went on: “All ministers and members across all the branches of SAVE SOULS INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES are sincerely appreciated for their prayers.”

    Other officiating minister were Bro. Olaoye, Pastor AFC Aramoko, Bro. Esan Olaoye; AFC, Ado Ekiti Region and Bro. Olu Ajayi.
