In line with the vision of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Abayomi S Fasina to ensure that the University Community; including both students and staff members enjoy optimal overall mental and emotional wellbeing for effective functioning in their academic and career pursuits, the VC has established the Directorate of Psychological Services Clinic headed by Dr Abiodun M. Lawal.
Mission:
The FUOYE Psychological Services Clinic sets to provide exceptional mental health care and support to her diverse student and staff population. The Directorate is committed to promoting psychological well-being, fostering personal growth, and enhancing the overall educational experience of staff and students.
Vision:
The Directorate ensures that every student thrives academically, emotionally, and socially; where seeking help for mental health concerns is as natural as seeking help for physical health issues. In addition, to ensure campuses where stigma surrounding mental health is eradicated, and students and staff are empowered to take control of their mental and emotional well-being.
