Like torrential rains, tributes flew endlessly, Friday, in Ogbomoṣo as the remains of the former University Librarian of Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Professor Gboyega Adio were interned.
Prof. Adio who worked as FUOYE's University Librarian between 2015 and 2020 passed on after his retirement from FUOYE.
The university was represented by a large delegation led by the current University Librarian, Dr. Olabode Olajide.
Dr. Olajide who delivered the Management message at the occasion recalled that Professor Adio served the university with all his might during his tenure, urging the family members to take solace in the fact that Prof. Adio left behind worthy legacies. Among those who accompanied the university Librarian were Head, Readers Services Department, Mrs Ozimede Anyakorah, Head of Cataloging Section, Mrs Modupe Olawumi, Library SIWES coordinator,
Mr Ibrahim Soladoye among others.
