It is heart warming news as the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) is set to host the 17th annual edition of organic conference of the Organic Agriculture Professionals in Tertiary institutions in Nigeria (OAPTIN) in March, 2024.
Themed : “Organic Agriculture: Wealth Creation and Sustainability”, the 2024 edition of the parley holds at FUOYE premises in Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria, from March 24 to 29, 2024 at 8am on daily basis.
The Organic Agriculture conference is being organized by the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of OAPTIN ably chaired by Prof. Segun Olubode, who has assured that the event shall be highly impactful and exceedingly rewarding as usual.
Keynote speaker
A press statement signed by Prof. Olubode, which was made available to the University media team, reads in part: “On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 2024 Organic Agriculture Professionals in Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria (OAPTIN) Conference, we cordially invite you to submit your manuscript(s) for presentation at the conference.”

The statement further listed the Keynote Speaker of the conference to include Prof. Olugbenga O. Adeoluwa of the Department of Soil Resources Management, University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and Lead Paper Presenters to include Prof. Isijokelu Moses Ojeifo Department of Crop Science, Delta State University, Abraka, and Dr. Mrs. Janet Chinwe Olowoyeye who is Dean, School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology, BOUESTI, Ikere-Ekiti.

The sub-themes of the conference, according to the statement, included;
